A TOP comedian will come to Carlisle next year with a comedy show about his experience with testicular cancer.

Richard Herring, known for his stand-up comedy, his work with fellow legendary comedian Stewart Lee, and his podcasts, will come to Carlisle’s The Old Fire Station on July 3, 2024.

This is part of his tour, ‘Can I Have My Ball Back?’, and marks a much-anticipated return after six years.

Herring gained prominence in the 1990s as part of the comedy duo 'Lee and Herring' alongside Stewart Lee.

The duo had several successful shows, including "Fist of Fun" and "This Morning with Richard Not Judy."

Richard Herring then continued to work as a solo comedian and has written and performed numerous stand-up shows.

He is known for his clever and often thought-provoking humour, tackling a wide range of topics in his performances.

In addition to his work in comedy, Herring has contributed to various radio programs, and he has written books and articles. He is also host of the hugely popular RHLSTP podcast.

He remains an influential figure in the British comedy scene.

Old Fire Station have offered exclusive pre-sale tickets from 10am on Thursday December 7 with a special code, with general admission tickets available the next day.
