A COUPLE decided to dance their way down the aisle before they ventured off to Dublin for a mini-moon as well as a 'family-moon' in Belek, Turkey.

Sales director Samantha Moore, 36, and quality engineer Daley Rogers, 43, met at a house party in March 2018 and since then have become inseparable.

Three years later, the pair from Egremont got engaged on December 19 at Ribby Hall Winter Wonderland, when they were visiting Santa with their children.

For his stag do, Daley chose to go to Benidorm whereas Samantha chose to go to Carlisle.

The pair got married on August 19, 2023, at The Den at Four Acre, Kirkbride, and had their own extravagant entrances to make at the start of the ceremony.

"At the start of the wedding, three of Daley's groomsmen - Josh Pears, Glenn McAleavy and Adam Kelly - became 'flower boys' and danced down the aisle ahead of the bridal party to ‘Sharp Dressed Man’ by ZZ Top!" Samantha said.

"Then one of our ushers played on the keyboard ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman, which is a special song to the family, and the song played for the bridal party to walk down the aisle."

The ceremony was then followed by first drinks for 180 guests.

Later on in the day, they cut their three-tier naked cake then had their two 'first dances'.

"Our first was to Blake Shelton – I’ll Name the Dogs - then our second dance was Solomon Burke – Cry to Me," she went on.

"We had a great day and there were too many 'best moments of the day' to choose from.

"If we had to pick as few, we would say the first look, the flower boys' dance and all of our friends and family filling the dancefloor and dancing the night away!"
