CUMBRIA Police are investigating an assault which took place on November 27 at Flimby Great Woods in Workington.
The victim was approached by three males on scrambler bikes, one reportedly attacking him with an aerosol can containing red substance before fleeing.
The unidentified males were seen in dark clothing including balaclavas and helmets. No one was injured during the incident.
The police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have seen the three males, to come forward and get in touch with police.
