Lanercost House care home invites community to Christmas Fete

Lanercost House, on Berkeley Grange on Newton Road in Carlisle, is inviting staff, residents, relatives, and members of the local community to come together to enjoy a Christmas fete that will be held on the home’s grounds on December 9, 2023.

The event starts at 10 am until 4 pm, and there will be a variety of activities throughout the day, including a Christmas market made up of local businesses selling their wares, Santa’s grotto, face painting, and a raffle to be enjoyed by all attendees on the day.

Staff at Lanercost House are looking forward to meeting neighbours and new friends at the fete, which they believe will be a great opportunity for generations, young and old, to have fun together.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies provided by the home’s hospitality team when visitors have a minute to relax from all the fun.
