A local artist is set to showcase her work at two upcoming exhibitions near Carlisle.
Artist Ceri Allen is holding an open studio from Friday, November 24 to Sunday, November 26 and Friday, December, 1 to Sunday, December 3 at The Sark Chapel, Hethersgill from 11 to 4pm each day.
Exhibits include recent work by Ceri, prints by Morgan Allen, and a selection of artwork by Colin and Sadie Allen.
The chapel first opened as an art centre in 1982, holding regular Christmas and summer exhibitions for many years.
This is both a tribute and a celebration of the past and future.
There will also be refreshments on offer, including hot drinks and mince pies, perfect for cold Christmas afternoons.
