A fabulous foodie experience, the Supper Club, is making a comeback at the Taste Cumbria Christmas event - this time at a beautiful rural location.

The Supper Club took place for the first time at the festival’s flagship event last year and was a huge success.

This Christmas’s dining experience will take place on Thursday, December 7 at Low Hall The Lakes, near Blindbothel.

The Loveable Old Barn at this stunning venue is more usually used for weddings and parties so many people don’t get to enjoy its gloriously rustic surroundings. It’s run by the Ben and Francesca Knight who have transformed the historic buildings to make a really magical place.

The team from Ambleside’s Smokey Pikes will be creating a three course Winter feast for this sparkling event. Tickets are on sale now priced £45 and guests will receive a welcome cocktail before their meal which promises to be packed with local produce.

This exclusive dining experience is part of the Taste Cumbria Christmas festival, which takes place in Cockermouth on December 9 and 10.

There will be chef demos, live music, family entertainment, a hot food court and lots of stalls packed with food, drink, homewares and art. Visitors will also have the chance to explore Cockermouth’s independent businesses and eat, drink and shop in the run up to Christmas.

This year’s Taste Cumbria Christmas is organised by Cumberland Council, sponsored by Cockermouth Town Council, The Coffee Kitchen Bakery, Holmen Iggesund and Milburns Solicitors, and supported by Cockermouth & District Chamber of Trade.
