THE opening date for Rodeos, a new disco and cowgirl themed bar in Whitehaven has been revealed after much anticipation.
Rodeos which is based in the former betting shop in Whitehaven Market Place, will open on November 24 from 7pm.
Last month, an application to turn the ground floor of 54 Market Place from a betting shop into a bar was submitted by Kelsey Hall.
The plans said: “We are applying for change of use to change our property from a betting shop to a bar. We would also like to get permission to put our logo / a sign on the back of the building.”
After building anticipation for the new bar through a Facebook page, the opening date remained a secret until now. The post read: "We are SO excited to welcome you into Rodeos and show you what we've poured our heart and souls into over the last 6 months! See you in TWO WEEKS!"
The new bar is already selling out of VIP booths for the Christmas period.
