Award-winning comedian Jessica Fostekew has announced her largest tour to date - and she's stopping in Carlisle along the way.

Starting on February 18, 2024, in Leicester, tickets for 'Mettle' are available from 10am on October 27 from jessicafostekew.com, plosive.co.uk and seetickets.com.

Jessica, star of BBC’s QI and C4’s Travel Man, will delve into stories of passion and determination.

This new stand-up act promises an engaging and personal exploration of her life, told with signature enthusiasm.

Jessica Fostekew said: “I’m properly giddy about sharing this show.

"I've spent the last year feeling increasingly passionate about so many things from the state of the world to the state of the monsters on Married at First Sight.

"I’ve had a big birthday and it's come with a torrent of life-bending revelations; the biggest of which is that even if something seems impossible, it might not be.

"I'd been spending too long giving up too easily. This is a show about shamelessly caring about things a huge amount and turning that passion into positive action.”

Jessica's rich experience includes co-hosting The Guilty Feminist, a successful podcast with more than 60 million downloads, and creating Hoovering, another popular podcast.

She has featured in a range of television shows and dramas, including Cuckoo, Live at the Apollo, Rirchard Osman's House of Games, and BAFTA multiple-award-winning Three Girls.

The comedian will be performing her show, Mettle, at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle, on March 4, 2024.
