Carlisle's newest music venue, Box Arena, will open one week earlier than planned after announcing an event for this Saturday night.
Located in Carlisle city centre, the venue will host music nights, boxing, wrestling, comedy and more, starting from Saturday, October 21.
Musical artist and DJ Morgan Seatree will be among the first to perform at 7 Portland Place following its refurbishment from The Venue after it closed in June.
Box Arena posted on Facebook, writing: "This is the first night in the Box Arena, what a better way to open than with Loco, Morgan Seatree, the best local line up to date and the best dance venue in Cumbria.
"We will now be running the event as a boiler room/lab London 360 vibe with the booth right in the centre of the dance floor, it’s going to be absolutely bouncing from start to finish."
Morgan Seatree will be joined by Parkins, Ben Davey, Karl Rowlands, and Dean Matthews from 9pm to 3am on Saturday this weekend.
Tickets are selling fast but can be bought on Skiddle for £12.35.
