CARLISLE'S Green Room club is set to transform into a TARDIS next month in honour of the iconic sci-fi show, Doctor Who.
The team from Space Radio return to the West Walls Theatre on November 24 for an evening of staged readings, ‘fan-fiction’, cosplay, and even a pub quiz to commemorate the show which will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Director Eden McIntyre said: "Basically, we’re all just huge Whovians and couldn’t miss the chance to do something to commemorate the occasion.
"It should be a fun night with lots of laughs, dressing up, and celebrating our favourite sci-fi show’s sixtieth birthday."
The event will start at 6.30pm.
A pub quiz will follow in the theatre’s Cellar Bar (£1 per person, teams of four) with fabulous prizes to be won.
Audiences are being encouraged to adorn Who-themed fancy dress, with a prize materialising for the best costume.
Tickets to this non-profit fan production are free and are available to reserve online at carlislegreenroom.uk/tickets
