Crews from Brampton Fire Station attended to a two-vehicle crash near Greenhead on Friday morning.
Together with Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service, Haltwhistle Community Fire Station and Hexham Fire Station, emergency fire services arrived on the scene at around 11am.
A casualty, not able to extricate themselves due to health reasons, was helped by the Haltwhistle crew.
A spokesperson from Brampton Fire Station said: "As we arrived we found Haltwhistle crew already in attendance, who were working on making the single casualty left in a vehicle more accessible, as they were medically unable to remove themselves.
"Together with Northumbria Police we focused on scene safety and isolating the EV-powered vehicle's battery, while Great North Air Ambulance Service treated the casualty and prepped them for transit to hospital by road.
"Brampton crew then returned to home station around midday."
