New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Cumberland’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
All those that were assessed by the Food Standards' Agency received a five star food hygiene rating according to the official website.
Three cafes- The Moody Cow in Allonby, Java and Chocolate in Keswick, and Mae's at Old School House in Wigton all received five stars. Stanbeck Residential Home also received a five-star hygiene rating.
One pub, The Lion and Lamb in Wigton received a five-star rating as did Pearl City, a takeaway in Wigton.
