A MAJOR retailer has said they have been 'thrilled' to open a new store in Workington town centre, as customers welcomed the store to the town's main shopping complex.
This month marks the arrival of a brand-new TK Maxx store in Workington, making it easier than ever for local treasure seekers to grab great value bargains.

Spanning two floors and 15,477 square feet, the TK Maxx store specialises in offering 'well-loved brands at lower prices'. Shoppers can expect several new deliveries each week.

The new TK Maxx store opening will be creating around 30 new jobs for the area, details of which can be found on the TK Maxx website.
A spokesperson for TK Maxx said: “We are thrilled to bring TK Maxx to Workington, giving local shoppers the chance to shop high-brand fashion, accessories, and more, all at great prices.
"We want to give our valued Workington treasure seekers the best shopping experience possible, and we’re confident they will enjoy our new bright and beautiful store!”

A spokesperson for Sovereign Centros said: "Since we announced the anticipated opening of TK Maxx we have had such incredible feedback from both the public and our current and prospective retailers.

"There has been a lot of excitement in the town, and we have been counting down to opening day
"We look forward to welcoming back some shoppers who may not have been into town for a while.
"People will notice some great changes in the centre such as Pandora recently having re-opened along with relocated and upgraded stores such as Trespass and Shoezone.
