MEMBERS of Cumbria's Fire and Rescue Service are taking on a unique fire bucket challenge to raise vital funds.
Firefighters will be passing a water bucket from Egremont Fire Station to Whitehaven Harbour, making up a trip of 8 miles.
The organisers have invited serving and non-serving members as well as the public to participate.
The event is set to start at 9.30am on October 7 from Egremont Fire Station.
All are encouraged to contribute towards the fundraiser which will go to the The Firefighters Charity.
The JustGiving page has so far raised over £500.
