TELEVISION personality and former model Gail Porter is set to appear in Carlisle next year as part of her comedy tour.
The 52-year-old enjoyed a successful career on screen, starting out work on children's TV shows before branching out into modelling and presenting.
She famously posed nude for FHM, with the image later projected onto the Houses of Parliament in 1999 without her knowledge.
After developing alopecia in 2005, she saw her TV career all but end overnight, but she would subsequently discover a new passion for comedy after teaming up with comedians John Bishop and Tony Pitts for their Fringe show, Three Little Words.
Ms Porter sold out 31 shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival recently and is now taking her stand-up act on tour.
She can be seen at Carlisle's Old Fire Station on Wednesday, March 6 2024 at 8pm, with tickets available on their website for £15.
