A Cumbrian hotspot has been voted as one of the best places for Brits to visit during the autumn, according to new research.

Summer is all but over, let's face it. The one week of glorious weather among monthly downpours was typical for the British holiday time, but hey, at least autumn is around the corner.

Temperatures drop in autumn along with the changing colour of the trees which spawns subtle crunch of crisp leaves underfoot.
