A COMEDIAN coming off the back of a sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run will be playing in Carlisle at the end of the month.
Kieran Hodgson will be bringing his national tour of Big In Scotland to the Old Fire Station on September 28.
Big In Scotland explores Hodgson's experience as a non-immigrant adjusting to life in a relatively different country, providing a humourous take on national identity.
Throughout the show, the story unfolds as Hodgsons' England-centred view of the UK is demolished by a range of Scottish characters.
The show has so far received five-star ratings up and down the country, including from The Mail on Sunday.
As a writer and performer on TV, Kieran has created and starred in three acclaimed specials for Channel 4: How Europe Stole My Mum as well as Prince Andrew: The Musical.
He will also be playing in Kendal's Brewery Arts on September 27.
Tickets for the Carlisle show are available via the Old Fire Station website.
