CUMBRIAN favourite Helen Skelton will be returning home for a special book launch event at the Old Fire Station.
Helen Skelton, known for her appearances on shows such as Blue Peter, Countryfile, SAS Who Dares Wins, and Strictly Come Dancing, will be discussing her life on and off screen to celebrate the release of her new memoir In My Stride.
The book explores the lessons she has learned through her various adventures and how connecting with nature can help us find resilience and navigate through challenging times.
The event, which starts at 7pm, will include a meet and greet as well as a book signing with Helen on October 17.
Tickets are priced at £15.00 and are available from the Old Fire Station website, copies of the book are also available on the night.
