A MAN has been charged following a traffic stop by police in which 2kg of cannabis and £14,000 in cash was recovered from a Mercedes on the M6.
Cumbria Police have charged a man with possession with intent to supply following a traffic stop on the M6 on Friday evening, September 1.
Officers stopped a silver Mercedes on the M6 motorway near to junction 39.
Recovered from the vehicle was 2kg of cannabis and more than £14,000 in cash.
Kai Ling Wang, 50, of Powell Street, Clayton, Manchester has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of criminal property.
He has been remanded to appear at Barrow Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 4.
