The dates for the ever-popular Carlisle Christmas markets have now been confirmed.
After a hugely successful 2022 event, the markets will return to the border city from December 1 to December 16.
The city centre is set to be transformed into a winter wonderland featuring over 40 Alpine-style chalets and festive-themed trading units selling a wide range of gifts, crafts, food, and drink.
Shoppers can find everything from handmade Christmas decorations to fresh macaroons, with hot, fresh food also set to be available for just over two weeks.
Among the smells and tastes of the food stalls are wonderfully presented craft and gift chalets, selling handmade trinkets and presents, which could be perfect stocking fillers ahead of the big day on December 25, which is now only 115 days away!
