Fundraising war veteran Mark Harding is entering the final week of his challenge.
On August 25 he will reach Lands' End after walking across the entire country from John O' Groats in Scotland.
Whilst serving in Afghanistan Mark was seriously injured and told that he'd never walk again.
Since then, he has regained some of his mobility and spends his time raising money for charities close to his heart.
He is currently raising money for Scotty's Little Soldiers which supports bereaved military children.
Mr Harding said: "I reached Cornwall this week and it's just a realization that I've managed to get here.
"When I'm sat alone it hits home just how far I've come and it's overpowering really.
"I think realising that I'm the first disabled person to do this blows my mind really and it's quite overwhelming the sense of achievement and the pride I have for the charities."
Mark explains that he has been supported along the way by people who have offered him food and free accommodation.
So far, he has raised thousands and is delighted that his efforts are now getting national recognition.
