A COUPLE tied the knot in front of family and friends in a beautiful ceremony and then enjoyed a mini-moon in Dublin.
Carlisle couple Chris Bateman, 32, and Louise Bennett, 29, met five years ago after Louise's sister introduced them to each other.

Chris knew Louise was the woman for him and popped the question during a hike up Gibson Knott, in Grasmere, on September, 11 2021.
After the engagement announcement, the pair organised their stag and hen celebrations. Chris had his stag do in Newcastle and Louise's hen party was a celebration with friends and family in Carlisle.

The pair tied the knot on July, 22 at Skitby House in Carlisle.
Speaking about the day, Louise said: "I arrived in style in a classic car to the wedding venue which was a great start to the day.
"We had our best men, Scott Huddart, Paul Sloan, Alex Bennett stand at the altar with Chris and I walked down the aisle with my maid of honour, Zoe Box, along with bridesmaids, Lauren Wood, Suzanne Smith and Maddi Bennett.

"After the ceremony, ourselves and 60 guests enjoyed a traditional roast dinner for our wedding meal. Then we gave out our favours which were sweets, Chris's favourite cola bottles and my favourite rhubarb and custards.
"Later in the night we cut our two-tier cake; which had a bottom layer of Victoria sponge and a top layer of lemon drizzle, which was again to incorporate our favourite cakes.
"We then took to the floor for our first dance, which was to My Universe by BTS and Coldplay. After our dance we had a band called Nashville Heat.
"We couldn't have asked for a better day.
"We are planning our honeymoon for next year but due to other commitments we had a mini-moon to Dublin, so we felt like we managed to de-stress."
