A POPULAR car show is set to return to the grounds of Netherby Hall this summer.

The Grade II* listed mansion at Longtown, near Carlisle, will welcome thousands of car fans to its annual show, which features rare and vintage classic cars as well as performance and supercars.

Located in 36 acres of private parkland and gardens, Netherby Hall is owned and operated by Gerald and Margo Smith, who have completed a multi-million-pound transformation at the property, creating nine luxury self-catering holiday cottages and apartments, as well as conference facilities.

The car show is one of a series of events held at Netherby Hall throughout the year including a Spring Fair, Christmas Fair, and classical music concerts.

This year’s Netherby Hall Car Show will take place on Saturday, August 5, and Sunday, August 6.

Kim Capstick, operations manager at Netherby Hall, said: "Our annual car show is a popular event on the classic car calendar, drawing thousands of visitors every year.

"The quality of cars entered into the show each year is fantastic, and we love being able to showcase such amazing vehicles against the stunning backdrop of Netherby Hall."

The event will look to build on the success of the Netherby Hall's 2022 classic car show which featured Aston Martin cars supplied by sponsors Grange Aston Martin Edinburgh.
