A BRITISH holidaymaker who died after reportedly falling from a hotel balcony in Ibiza has been named locally as Carlisle man John McKenna, 22.
John sadly passed away after a fall from his hotel balcony on June 23.
Media reports indicate the tragedy happened at a hotel called the Azuline Hotel Llevant, just 200m from San Antonio beach on the island.
Tributes have begun to flood in for the young man following his tragic death.
Sunday League Premier side Scotby FC tweeted a tribute to their player saying: "Today we lost a legend, a brilliant player but an even better person, never forgotten but loved always! RIP big John."

One friend who was with John in Ibiza wrote on social media that they'd had the 'best night', 'dancing their heart out' the night prior to the tragedy.
"Never thought I'd have to be saying goodbye to my best friend," they wrote. "So heartbroken."
Pal and former Carlisle United player Josh Dixon shared childhood photos of him and John on his Instagram and said: “Absolutely gutted one of the very best lads about, rest easy up there my mate."
Joe Robinson, a teammate at Scotby wrote: "Absolutely devastating. Never without a smile on his face, was an absolute pleasure sharing a changing room with you and you will be missed more than words can say especially at Scotby.
"Super John McKenna."
The Cumberland FA said: "We are so sorry to hear this tragic news. Our thoughts are with John’s family & friends as well as his teammates in the @afcscotby family at this time and always xx #FootballFamily"
Connor Hogarth wrote: "Absolutely devastated. Watched him grow from a baby to an absolute gentleman. We need to all be there for big kev and his family. Love you always John Mac - Never forgotten."

'Incident being investigated'
The circumstances surrounding the fall have not yet been clarified by officials.
A Civil Guard spokesman said on Friday: “A 22-year-old British man has died this morning after plunging from the third floor of a hotel in San Antonio.
“The incident is still being investigated.”
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British national who died in Ibiza and are in contact with the local authorities.”
