Carer Support Cumbria are celebrating their volunteers who help unpaid Carers across Cumbria to mark volunteers Week (June 1-7) - and highlighting the opportunities for others to help people across the county.

Volunteers Week celebrates volunteers and is an opportunity for organisations and communities to say ‘thank you’ to them for the contribution that they make.

The week also raises awareness about the benefits becoming a volunteer and the diverse volunteering roles that are available.

“We would welcome anyone who would like to become a volunteer with Carer Support West Cumbria.”

Volunteers at Carer Support South Lakes will be coming together for a ‘Volunteers Lunch’ on June 7 and the first Volunteers Awards evening will be held later this year.
