CARLISLE United have confirmed their 'retained and released' list less than 48 hours after they earned promotion to League One at Wembley Stadium.
The list indicates which players will remain at the club and which are set to depart.
In a statement on the club's website, Carlisle confirmed that Jack Armer, Ryan Edmondson, Jack Ellis, Joe Garner, Callum Guy, Jayden Harris, Tomas Holy, Paul Huntington, and Owen Moxon are already contracted for the club's return to League One in 2023/24.
Gabriel Breeze, Jordan Gibson, Max Kilsby, Jon Mellish, and Corey Whelan have also all had contract clauses activated for the 2023/24 season.
In addition, Carlisle has offered new deals to playoff final penalty shootout winner Taylor Charters as well as 22/23 top scorer Kristian Dennis, captain Morgan Feeney, and Omari Patrick.
The club will give updates on these contract talks in 'due course'.
There is also confirmation of the graduation of second-year scholar Kai Nugent.
The club also announced that a number of players have been released. These are Lewis Bell, Jamie Devitt, Brennan Dickenson, Josh Dixon, Sam Fishburn, Mick Kelly, Joel Senior, Tobi Sho-Silva, and Scott Simons.
Fin Back, Ben Barclay, John-Kymani Gordon, Alfie McCalmont and Jack Robinson have all returned to their parent clubs following the expiry of their loan deals.
