A ONE-STOP bridal boutique will hold a wedding fayre to showcase the variety of suppliers available to brides.
Owner Jeenine Davies had always loved things bridal and had been a bridal hairdresser when she saw a gap in the market to create a business 'covering all bases'.
J Davies Hair, Beauty and Bridal Boutique in Carlisle was created in February this year to give brides everything they needed in one place to minimise the stress of planning a wedding.
Jeenine's employee, Bryony McMillan, is a bridal alterations specialist. She said the boutique based at 25 London Road will host the wedding fayre on Sunday, June 4 from 11am until 3pm.
"We've done one wedding fayre previous and got our name out there. It's peak wedding season now so we wanted to do a summer wedding fair and get prospective brides together."
Everything from nutritionists, cake makers, videographers, venues and florists will attend the fayre, with up to 16 different suppliers showcasing how they can make a couple's wedding the best experience possible.
"It's an opportunity to come and look around, meet different suppliers, and give inspiration for bridal shopping which should be a fun day out with your bride tribe."
The business has a dress room with its own dress consultants, Jeenine as the in-house award-winning bridal hair specialist, lash and nail technicians, an aesthetician and beauticians along with a bridal makeup artist.
Jeenine and Bryony recently got back from a trip to Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, looking at the latest fashions and trends taking the bridal world by storm.
"We also secured two new designers and are due to get our first deliveries from them imminently and exclusive to our boutique in Carlisle and could not be more excited. We stock a selection of gowns from four designers ranging from £1,000 to £2,000 from sizes 6 to 26."
Brides can register interest in the fayre on the boutique's website: https://jdavieshairbeautyandbridalcarlisle.co.uk/.
