SEVEN places in Carlisle where you can watch the League Two playoff final between Carlisle United and Stockport County.

In their latest update, Carlisle United announced that the club had sold nearly 14,000 tickets for 'arguably United’s biggest game since we last won promotion via this method back in 2005.'

However, not all of the Blues faithful will be able to make the trip down to the capital, and for those who cannot, here are some options for where you can watch the action in Carlisle:

The Beehive Pub, Warwick Road

The Carlisle United fan favourite, located adjacent to Brunton Park will be screening Paul Simpson's side's attempt to claim promotion glory at Wembley Stadium.

However, they have urged Blues fans to act quickly and book their place in the pub.

Walkabout, Botchergate

The popular city centre club is also a regular spot for sports fans with consistent screenings of events.

This will be no different on Sunday for Carlisle's biggest game in recent history, with the match against The Hatters being shown. Booking is also advised.

They said on social media: "We're not sure if you've heard... but Carlisle United are only going to bloody Wembley.

"We will have all of the action live as we watch the Blues take on Stockport this Sunday."

Carlisle Rugby Club, Warwick Road

After a weekend of action involving the Border City Sevens, Carlisle Rugby Club, located just down the road from Brunton Park will be throwing open its doors and supporting Simmo's Blues, with the big match set to be shown.

They said: "Our club will be open from 12pm on Sunday to show the Carlisle United Football Club game.

"What better way to warm up, and kick start your bank holiday weekend, than coming along to our Border City Sevens."

Royal Scot, Lanrigg Road/Morton Park

As part of the mammoth effort to try and get as many fans down to Wembley as possible to cheer on Simmo and the Blues, the Royal Scot laid on its own 52-seater coach.

However, for fans who cannot make it to the capital, the Morton-based pub will be showing the game live.

The Apple Tree, Lowther Street

The family-friendly pub in the heart of Carlisle will also be showing the game.

They said: "If you're not going to Wembley to watch the game, then get your tables booked with us.

"But get them booked fast before we fill up."

St Nicholas Arms, London Road

Further afield from the city centre, the St Nicholas Arms will be backing the Blues and showing their playoff final live.

The Griffin, Court Square

Located at the top of Botchergate, the Griffin is another central venue that will be showing the League Two playoff final between Carlisle and Dave Challinor's Stockport County.

The Linton Holme Inn, Lindisfarne Street

This family friendly pub located just off London Road will also be showing the game.
