New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 13 of Westmorland and Furness’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Faeryland at Beyond Pavement End, Grasmere; rated on May 12
• Rated 5: Bici Cafe at 1 The Gill, Ulverston; rated on May 11
• Rated 5: Watermill Inn at Ings, Kendal; rated on May 9
• Rated 5: Hillthwaite House Hotel at Thornbarrow Road, Windermere; rated on May 5
• Rated 5: Chesters by the River at Chesters By The River, Skelwith Bridge, Ambleside; rated on May 3
• Rated 5: Brooke Supplies - In the Garden Cafe at Southern Lakeland Nurseries, Station Road, Flookburgh; rated on April 26
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
