A MAN has appeared in court accused of controlling and coercive behaviour towards his former wife.
Ian Chambers, 54, pleaded not guilty to a charge of engaging in controlling and coercive behavior when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The offence is alleged to have taken place in Whitehaven between December 2015 and May 2021.
