HONISTER Slate Mine was thrilled to host TV star Robson Green at its iconic Lake District location over the weekend.

Green was filming for his latest series, 'Robson Green's Weekend Escapes', which is set to air on BBC in January 2024. The series is back after its hugely successful debut earlier this year, continuing to showcase the best of Britain's natural beauty and outdoor pursuits.

Green's visit to Honister Slate Mine is part of the series' focus on the importance of good mental health and slowing down the pace of life. As an adventure destination, Honister offers a range of activities that promote mental wellbeing, connecting visitors with the great outdoors and encouraging a break from the stresses of everyday life.
