A local business is hoping for a great turn out to its Coronation fundraiser party.
Green Croft On The Wall, is hosting a Coronation party at Gilsland Village Hall on May 5 at 7-11pm to raise money for SOSamson appeal.
The charity is also supported by the Gilsland Community Benefit Society.
Director of Green Croft Arts Amanda Drago said: "The Coronation is a fantastic time to come together as a community.
"It is not only to have a great time but also to join in with the one of the key initiatives for the coronation, The Big Help Out which is inviting people across the country to mark the occasion by signing up to volunteer or give to a cause local to them.
"The event has been financially supported by Thirlwall Parish Council, so we are able to offer the event for free but asking people to buy raffle tickets on the night.
"All the funds raised from selling hot dogs and cakes will go to the cause.
"We are a local business wanting to support a local cause that is important to us and the community which we serve. It's a family friendly event and everyone is welcome and we are really looking forward to starting the party for this Coronation weekend."
