AN APPLICATION has been put forward to change the use of a former two-story office building to create five flats in Carlisle.
The proposal seeks to convert what was once a former physiotherapy centre before becoming offices at Granville Hall, located to the north of Granville Road.
The plan consists of one-bedroom and four two-bedroom apartments.
It was submitted to Cumberland Council on April 3 by Renovat8 Homes & Property Maintenace Ltd.
The Edwardian building is currently vacant.

Prior approval had been granted in 2018 but has now expired, this is a resubmission of the previously approved scheme.
The design and access statements states: "The footprint remains unchanged with the proposals, but terraces are introduced to the west end to mirror that of the east end of the building to give some outdoor space to the two-end dwellings.
"New Velux type roof windows are proposed to the slate roof.
"There are minor changes proposed to the fenestration to the north elevation, with new entrance doors."
The public can view and comment on all applications submitted to Cumberland Council for approval.
Councillors on the planning panel will take comments of support or objection into account when giving a verdict.
