AN events planner was able to sit back and relax on her wedding day as she married the love of her life in front of their friends and family.

Events co-ordinator Charlotte, 28, and duty manager Paul Bryson, 34, first met at their mutual friends' joint birthday party in Carlisle in 2015.

News and Star:
Two years later, Paul proposed to Charlotte who said: "The proposal was on August 16, 2017. Paul asked my dad first, then we went to Slaley Hall for the night.
"He then took us for a walk around the gardens and woodland area in the grounds of the hotel and proposed in there.
"Paul managed to kneel in the only puddle there was, but it was a definite yes.
News and Star:
"We got married on February 27 at the Crown Hotel in Weatherall in Carlisle in front of 63 guests which included special friends and family."

The best man was Paul’s brother, Sean Bryson, and the ushers were Paul's cousin, Carl Graham, and Charlotte's brother Tom Robinson.

The maid of honour was the bride's sister Amanda Robinson and the bridesmaids were Paul's sisters Dawn Bryson and Kellie Bryson with Paul's daughter Drew Bryson being the flower girl and ring bearer.
Charlotte said: "Our ceremony was at 2pm with arrival drinks at 2.30pm then toast drinks at 4pm followed by a meal at 4.30pm.
"We were then joined by 80 extra guests for the night-time where everyone was treated to some homemade cherry rum and little boxes of sweets as favours from us.
"Our cake was made by my sister. It was a three-tier-cake with a Victoria sponge layer, chocolate layer and a lemon drizzle layer."

News and Star:
The pair then had their first dance to Ed Sheeran ft. Yebba - 'Best part of me'.
After the wedding, Charlotte and Paul had their honeymoon in Granton-On-Spey.
Reflecting on their wedding, Paul said: "My favourite moment of the day was turning around and seeing Charlotte walk down the aisle for the first time in her dress.
"But I know Charlotte's favourite moment was when we were outside taking photos after being married, just the two of us taking it all in and having time to ourselves."
