A CANNABIS farm has been discovered in a disused building in Penrith.
Eden Police said the discovery was made at a building in Penrith's Burrowgate (March 23).
A man has since been charged with being concerned with the production of cannabis.
A spokesperson for Eden Police said yesterday: "On Thursday, March 23 a cannabis farm was located at a disused building in Burrowgate, Penrith.
"Cumbria Police's serious and organised crime unit, along with response and community officers, attended to dismantle the equipment and remove the cannabis plants.
"A male has been charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis and was remanded in custody to appear before court this morning.
