The country’s premier Foo Fighters tribute act will be revisiting Carlisle later this month.

UK Foo Fighters will rock the Old Fire Station on Saturday, March 18, to what is hoped to be a sell-out crowd.

Frontman Jay Apperley said: “We’ve been going since 2007, and started playing Carlisle a few years ago and it generally sells out, it's heading that way I think, there are about 30 or 40 tickets left now.”

Jay said Carlisle is always a great city to perform in, and added: “We’ve had some great shows in Carlisle, it’s a really great crowd.

“Carlisle is really into their Foo Fighters, really into their music, and it’s a great venue to perform at.

“So here we are coming back again, Taylor Hawkins has been gone, and we’re celebrating him in our show.

“Our drummer gets out front like Taylor Hawkins did to sing.”
