TWO men have been charged following the discovery of cannabis farms at two properties.
Officers conducted a warrant at a property Brisco Road, Egremont on Tuesday (February 28) where 195 plants were located before a search was conducted yesterday (March 1) at a property on Main Street, Cleator Moor, where a further 142 plants were found.
Officers have charged Balerim Salimuthaj, 26, of Lily Street, West Bromich with being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis.
They also charged Luka Mecini, 22, of no fixed address, for the same.
Both were remanded in custody to appear at North and West Magistrates’ Court today (March 2).
