A SPECIAL charity event including a packed programme of local bands will take place later this year.
To be one of the last events of its kind to be hosted by the Mayor of Carlisle, Cllr Mike Mitchelson, the Mayor’s Charity Party will be held at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on Thursday, March 9.
Money raised through this event will go towards the mayor’s chosen charities for 2022/2023, which are Carlisle Key, Cash for Kids Cumbria and Southwest Scotland, and Eden Valley Hospice.
Headlining the event is Carlisle rock band Hardwicke Circus, known all around the city and who performed at Glastonbury last year, along with other as-yet unrevealed special guests and DJ Lovequest.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start and is for anyone aged 14 and up.
Tickets cost £10 and are available online at ofscarlisle.co.uk.
