TWO pet rabbits were found dead in the back garden of a home.
The incident occurred in the Hagget End area of Egremont between 5:30pm on December 30 and the morning of December 31.
Police are appealing for any information.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Anyone with information is asked to report it via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it. You can also phone 101.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
"Please include the incident number, log 72 of December 31 with any information reported," they said.
