POLICE are investigating an incident in which a shop window was smashed on Duke Street, Whitehaven.
The incident of criminal damage occurred at approximately 2am on November 14.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "The offender is described as a white male, wearing a light-coloured beanie hat, light-coloured jacket, dark jeans and dark trainers.
"Two members of the public were seen speaking to this male immediately after this incident.
"Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward in assisting to identify the offender in this case.
