POLICE are investigating damage to the putting green at Stony Holme Golf Club, St Aidans Road in Carlisle.
The damage occurred between 3pm on November 11 and 9am on November 13.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: "Offenders using motorbikes have churned the grass at the golf club causing high value damage to the green.
"Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident number 89 of 14/11/2022 You can also phone on 101.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111," they said.
