Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing 50-year-old man.

Lee Jackson, who was reported missing on Tuesday, 23rd August, was last seen in Carlisle on Monday 22nd August. 

Mr Jackson is from the Appleby area and is described as around 5ft 9, of stocky build, very short Brown hair and clean shaven.

Mr Jackson is believed to have stayed in the Carlisle area. However, he may be travelling on public transport or on foot.

Officers are appealing for anyone who has information on his whereabouts to contact police.
