Families can be busy little bees over the bank holiday thanks to events at the Florence Art Centre in Whitehaven.
And, in an effort to make the fun affordable to all, participation is by donation with the centre suggesting a price range of 0 to£10.
It is bees all the way.
Artist Alex Jakob-Whitworth, supported by Cumbria Wildlife Trust, will lead the workshops which will have bees as the central theme.
Families will begin each workshop with a tour around the art centre's beautiful gardens followed by the chance to create bee bunting and cyanotype bees.
Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. The distinctive feature of the print is its shade of cyan blue, which results from its exposure to ultraviolet light.
Booking is essential for all events. For more details and to see what else is on offer at the centre, visit its Facebook page.
