A WHITEHAVEN woman has been arrested after a four vehicle crash on the A66 at the weekend.
Police were called at 11:06am on Sunday August, 14 to the report of a four vehicle crash on the A66 between the Scales and Troutbeck junction.
A woman in her 30’s from Whitehaven, was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence. She has been released under investigation.
Police and Ambulance attended the scene.
The road was blocked whilst emergency services attended the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
There were no reported injuries.
