The festival of creative arts is set to open this weekend at the newly renovated Cumberland pencil factory in Keswick.
Organised by Eden Valley Artistic Network, the festival will feature paintings, photography, ceramics, textiles, workshops by local artists and performances from local musicians.
The opening event of the festival is on Thursday 11th August and will feature a performance of Dave Camlin's Lakes Meditations, a vocal improvisation with sounds of nature recorded at Cumbrian lakesides in lockdown.
Places are still available across the weekend for workshops on watercolours and wildlife photography and for a full programme of other events and a list of performances please go to evanevents.co.uk/factory-festival-of-creative-arts/.
