CUMBRIA Police road safety cameras are out and about today to clampdown on speeding motorists near Brampton, Alston and Penrith.
Police have revealed speed camera locations on the road network today.
A Police Spokesman said: "Today our Road Safety Camera vans will be operating in Culgaith, the A689 between Brampton & Nenthead, the A686 between Alston and Penrith and the A66 east of Penrith.
Police vans were yesterday (Saturday August 6) operating on the A65 between Kirkby Lonsdale & Kendal, the A683 between the Fat Lamb pub & Sedbergh and the M6 south.
Meanwhile Brampton Road will be closed from tomorrow Monday August 8 until Friday 12 August, between the University of Cumbria campus and Longlands Drive due to road resurfacing carried out by Cumbria Highways.
A signed diversion route will be in place via the A7 (J44) and the A689. Access to the university will be maintained from the Eastern (city centre) side of the closure.
