MAGISTRATES have adjourned sentencing a Carlisle man who has admitted stealing cosmetics from the city’s Boots store.
Lewis Brown, 39, committed the offence on December 9 last year, stealing goods worth £121, magistrates in Workington were told.
The defendant, of Dixons Court, Shaddongate, Carlisle, was granted unconditional bail and his case will be brought back before the court on August 30 so the court can have more medical background information.
Magistrates agreed that the defendant’s attendance at the hearing will be excused.
