A TEAM of BEEP doctors are on their last day of cycling through Cumbria.
The team started in Penrith on July 29 and are covering a 260-mile journey around the county over four days before arriving back at the BEEP headquarters in Penrith today (Tuesday).
They travelled into Kendal to Ulverston and then up to Gosforth over the weekend.

BEEP provides emergency medical attention to a patient for example at the roadside if they have been involved in a road traffic accident or in a home during a life-threatening emergency.
Chris Moss, one of the trustees and the cyclists, said: "The journey is absolutely fantastic. It is great to see parts of these local communities that we support. It is not just about funds it is about raising awareness. We are only a small charity - nobody is going to give to a charity that they don't know.
"We all do cycling but it is more about talking to communities.
"We support the ambulance service. Last year we attended 350 cases all over Cumbria. What people don't realise is that their nearest trauma centre is Newcastle or Preston, which is three or four hours away."
