A COUPLE have tied the knot in a popular Cumbrian venue after an auction house proposal!

On June 11, at the Garden of Eden in Crosby on Eden, an elegant wedding saw the marriage of Claire Donald, 30, a hairdresser and salon owner, and Nicholas Woodmass, also 30, a livestock auctioneer at C&D Auction Marts in Longtown.

The Carlisle couple met in 2015, but it wasn’t until Nicholas got down on one knee in the sheep shed at his auction mart on December 5, 2020, that wedding bells began to ring.

Claire’s outfit was a Mikado Fishtail from Wed2B, with a hand beaded belt, fingertip veil and a floral hair comb.

The dress was altered by Nina at All Sewn Up.
