THERE is increased traffic in the Penrith area today, Friday, July 29.
Roads around the Penrith area are currently experiencing congestion.
Drivers are asked to plan their routes accordingly and expect delays.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "The increased traffic is due to factors including members of the public attending events in the area, tourists visiting the county for the summer holidays and residual congestion from a road traffic collision on Eamont Bridge earlier today."
